THE DEAD MILKMEN
The Infant Of Prague Customized My Van - Bass

from Not Richard, But Dick

Tabbed by: Mike Brennan (djpolokus@hotmail.com)
Touched up by: Ben Gladdle (moose9377@hotmail.com)

It seems like I've been on a roll lately...this is another pretty
simple one, though I had to revise the end of the chorus a few
times. This is not only one of my favorites from Not Richard, But
Dick, but one of my top ten of all time. Who knew such a catchy tune
could come from something that sounds kind of like it could be in a
car commercial?(Hence the name)

Note from Ben: I just changed one note in the verse, and touched up
the chorus, which Mike had mostly right anyway.

Intro:
-----

G--------------------
D----2--0------------
A----------2--0------
E-0--------------3---

Verse:
-----

G---------------------------------
D-----2--0------------------------
A-----------2--0----0-------------
E--0--------------3--------0------

The verse is a little different, because of playing the line
consecutively, it hangs a little in emptiness while the guitar keeps
going.

Chorus:
------

It took me a bit to agree on what to send for this because I
couldn't hear it too well, but I came up with this.

   C#m C G D A
G--------------------------------------------------------------
D--------------------------------------------------------------
A--4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-3-3--------------5-5------------------------
E---------------------------3-3-------------5-5-----5-5--------

That's basically it. Play the verse line through the harmonica
solo(!?!?) and end on the 0 on the E string. Believe it or not, some
saints don't rot...
